Went out to China again this March for work. Fortunately only two weeks this time and everything went really smoothly and pretty well. Here's a few pics and words along the way
First stop was up in Xiamen, China, across the water from Taiwan. This was a pretty cool area actually, and a proper city/downtown that was fun to roam around |
Juss, skitching along |
Two seater scooter turned into a three seater scooter :) |
Open air market I came across one morning |
Same market |
Basically an outdoor grocery store.. |
Even meat is sold :) |
We're working with a new factory, which is much nicer, and they had this little guy that we got to play with after lunch each day |
:) |
But most of the time was spent like this, reviewing boots with factory workers and their developers |
Lunchtime for these ladies - she's using different colored thread to stitch and fill in each area to create that image. Pretty rad |
Hong Kong on the weekend, skating with Jordan, Neal, and Juss |
Found this park. pretty fun! |
Hotel in Guangzhou, China was super super nice! Still pretty cheap, but really nice |
Pool at the hotel |
Dinner one night - got served these things with a blue flame. There was some gel they were lighting on fire that would burn for a while in that cup |
Two-wheeler culture |
Mobile garden |
Just transporting a few containers of gas…. |
Best meal of the trip was on our last day. This is some northwest China/Muslim style food, and its soooo good. Somehow they had french fries also and ordered us those, but the other food was awesome |
Worst bathroom I have seen at another small factory we visited... |
Another skatepark in Hong Kong that was super awesome! Really really fun |
